Daily Offering to Our Lady

 

My Queen and My Mother, to thee I offer myself without any reserve; and to give thee a mark of my devotion, I consecrate to thee during this day my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, and my whole person. Since I belong to thee, O my good Mother, preserve and defend me as thy property and possession.

 

The Angelus

 

The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.

And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary . . .

Behold the handmaid of the Lord.

Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

And the Word was made flesh.

And dwelt among us.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray. Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an Angel, may be brought, by His Passion and Cross, to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.

O Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia.

For  He Whom thou didst merit to bear alleluia.

Let us pray. O God, Who gave joy to the world through the resurrection of thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ: grant that we may obtain, through his Virgin Mother, Mary, the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord.

 

The Memorare

 

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come; before thee, I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

 

The Magnificat

 

My soul doth magnify the Lord: And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. Because He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. After childbirth thou didst remain a pure Virgin.

Intercede for us, O Mother of God.

Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O sacred Virgin.

Give me strength against thine enemies.

Let us pray. Grant, O merciful God, support to our frailty; that we who commemorate the holy Mother of God, may, by the help of her intercession, arise from our iniquities. Through the same Christ our Lord.

Thou art all fair, O Mary. And the original stain is not in thee. Thou art the glory of Jerusalem. Thou art the joy of Israel. Thou art the honor of our people. Thou art the advocate of sinners. O Immaculate Virgin, Mother of God and Mother of humanity, we believe with all the fervor of our faith in your triumphal Assumption, both body and soul, into heaven, where you are acclaimed as Queen by all the choirs of angels and all the legions of the saints. And we unite with them to praise and bless the Lord who has exalted you above all other pure creatures, and to offer you the tribute of our devotion and our love.

Holy light on earth's horizon, Star of hope to those who fall, Light amid a world of shadows, Dawn of God's design for all. Chosen from eternal ages, You alone of all our race, By your Son's atoning merits were conceived in perfect grace. Mother of the world's Redeemer, promised from the dawn of time: How could one so highly favored share the guilt of Adam's crime? Sun and moon and stars adorn you, Sinless Eve, triumpant sign; you it is who crushed the serpent, Mary, pledge of life divine. Earth below and highest heaven, praise the splendor of your state, you who now are crowned in glory were conceived immaculate.
